Glenn Ford died on Wednesday, May 5, in the Cook Nursing Home after a long illness, he was 75. He was born July 16, 1879 and had spent most of his life farming in the vicinity of Bliss township and in later years worked for the Village of Bliss.
His wife died 14 years ago. His survivors are one sister living in California; four sons, Jule of Perry, Norman of Bliss, Leonard of Warsaw and Everett of Silver Springs; four daughters Margery Pombert of Silver Lake, Mavis Blanc, Camila Ford and Verna Wilson all of Perry.
Funeral services were held on Saturday May 8, in the Methodist Church in Bliss with Rev. Holley officiating. Interment was in the Smiths Corners Cemetery.
