Funeral services will be held at the Miller funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday for Mrs. Jacob C. Graber, 48, of 611 S. Duluth Ave., who died at a Sioux Falls hospital Friday noon following a long illness. A resident of Sioux Falls for 15 years, Mrs. Graber had been employed as a bookkeeper for the Costello Co., for five years before retiring because of poor health in February of this year. Mrs. Art. Hoehl will be organist. Interment will be in Hills of Rest Memorial Park. A lifetime South Dakota resident, Martha B. Boese was born in Avon, Jan. 1, 1903. She resided in Avon until her marriage to Mr. Graber in Freeman, Aug. 24, 1930, when she moved with her husband to Freeman to enter the poultry business. Mr. and Mrs. Graber moved to Marion a year later and lived there five years before coming to Sioux Falls. Mrs. Graber attended Springfield Normal College and was graduated from Nettleton Commercial College. She was a member of the Sioux Falls Central Baptist church. A son, Dennis, preceded her in death in 1940. She is survived by her widower; a daughter, Janis, Sioux Falls; three brothers, Edward and Levi Boese, Sioux Falls, and Arthur Boese, Valley Springs, and two sisters, Mrs. Amanda Schultz, Avon, and Alice Boese, Washington, D.C.
