Boese, Levi A., age 51, 1119 S. Dakota Ave. Passed away Thursday at a local hospital after an extended illness. Born July 1, 1911 in Vona, Colorado. At the age of 1 he moved to Avon, S.D. Attended grade school at Avon and high school at Washington High in Sioux Falls. Married Jean Kenyon May 28, 1938 in Sioux Falls. Was employed as a meat cutter in the pork department at John Morrell & Co. Member of the Church of the Nazarene. Survived by his wife; 3 daughters, Mrs. Roger (Sharon) Hunt, Patricia & Helen, all of Sioux Falls; 2 sons, James & David, Sioux Falls; 1 grandchild; 2 brothers, Edward & Arthur, Sioux Falls; 2 sisters, Mrs. John Schultz, Avon, Miss Alice Boese, Washington, D.C. Services will be held 2:30 Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Rev. Clinton Wickham officiating. Burial in Hills of Rest.
