Vern Edgar Carmichael

FAITH - Vern Edgar Carmichael, 85, Faith, died Friday, Sept. 22, 2000, at Fort Meade Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Sturgis.

Survivors include his wife, Aldene Carmichael, Faith; two sons, Dean Carmichael, Lakeside, Mont., and Arlen Carmichael, New Underwood; three daughters, Pat Heffernan, La Crosse, Wis., Judy Taylor, Caputa, and Peggy Falvey, Lemmon; one brother, Glen Carmichael, Lemmon; and three sisters, Garnet Gaaskjolen, Meadow, Ellen Gaaskjolen, Spearfish, and Dorothy Hammer, Rapid City; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 25, at Kinkade Funeral Chapel, and for one hour before services, which will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, at American Legion Hall in Faith, with the Rev. Harold Delbridge officiating. Burial will follow in Lemmon.
