Mr. Dancheck was born March 11, 1918, a son of Daniel and Mary Lubka Dancheck. He was employed as a coal miner.
He was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Catholic Church, Brownsville; American Legion Post 377, California and UMWA Local 2399.
Surviving are his wife, Helen Duritza Dancheck, one daughter, Cheryl, at home; his father, Daniel Dancheck, Daisytown and two brothers, Mike, Richeyville and Daniel, Edgewater, Md.
