Professional Wrestler. He was one of the original "Fabulous Freebirds" with Michael "P.S." (Purely Sexy) Hayes and Buddy Roberts. He held many titles including: the NWA American Heavyweight Champion, Southeastern Heavyweight Champion, Alabama Heavyweight Champion, Smoky Mountain Wrestling Champion, Mid-South Tag Team Champion (2 times), NWA National Tag Team Champion(4 times), WCW World Tag Team Champion, All-Japan Triple Crown Champion (2 times), All Japan International Tag Team Champion (8 times), and World Class Texas American Champion. In 2015, the Fabulous Freebirds were inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame (PWHF). In 2016, he was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a member of the Fabulous Freebirds.
