Mrs. Mable P. Jackson, 90, died Sunday at Bulloch Memorial Hospital in Statesboro after a brief illness. The Henry County native had lived in Statesboro for 39 years, having moved there from Eastman. She was a member of Statesboro First United Methodist Church, Treasure Seekers Sunday School Class and the Statesboro Woman's Club.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Thelma P. Adams of Statesboro and Mrs. Elsie W. Dawkins of Boutt, La.; two sons, Dr. John L. Jackson of Statesboro and Dr. Hiram M. Jackson of Milledgeville; three sisters, Mrs. Avis P. Scott and Mrs. W.P. Wilson, both of Atlanta; and Mrs. Maurie P. Krell of Stockbridge; a brother, Frank Pattillo of Atlanta; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 2:30 p.m. today at Statesboro First United Methodist Church, burial in Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro. Smith-Tillman Mortuary.
