Mrs. A. O. Jackson Passes On
Iva Blanche Burrow was born near Collins, Mo. April 4, 1886, and grew to womanhood there. She was united in marriage to A. O. Jackson, July 24, 1905, at Collins, Mo. To this union two children were born; one dying when a baby.
They came to Kansas February 14, 1914, and lived 14 miles southwest of Elk City. She departed this life November 10, 1946, at the home of George Reed, near Niotaze, Kans., at the age of 60 years, 7 months and 6 days.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband and one daughter, Mrs. Veora (L. A.) Banning of Longton; also, five grandchildren, Mrs. Jean (Raymond) Weber, Martin, Delbert, Cecil and James Banning, all of Longton; her aged mother, Mrs. Margaret Burrow of Collins, Mo.; one brother, C. A. Burrow of Inglewood, Calif., and a host of neighbors and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Denbo funeral home in this city and were conducted by Rev. R. F. Twining. A large number of relatives and old-time friends of the deceased were in attendance. Interment was in the Longton cemetery.
