Her eldest son was that Sir Warham St. Leger (1579-1632) who commanded his own ship in Raleigh's Guanna expedition of 1618 and in consequence of the losses then incurred was obliged to sell Leeds Castle. Of his thirteen children recorded in the Stemmata St. Leodigaria, the three youngest are of special interest to Virginia...."
