He is survived by three brothers, Otis Holt, Columbia, Raymond Holt, Russell Springs, and W. P. (Pat) Holt of Norwood, OH; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Short, Indianapolis, IN, and Mrs. Anna Bryant, Forrest, IL. Aso one uncle, Luther Bailey, Russell Springs, and one aunt, Mrs. Mary Susan Combest, Columbia, KY.
Archie was known by many people of Russell County. He had a very pleasing personality and an understanding for all.
The funeral rites were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Freedom Separate Baptist Church, with Rev. L. C. Young officiating. The Masonic rites were held at the grave, and he was laid to rest in the Freedom Cemetery.
The pallbearers were: Otis Holt, Raymond Holt, Pat Holt, Buford Bailey, Ted Grahl and Oris Bailey
