Mrs. Sterling Rites Held
Services were held Wednesday for Mrs. Grover C. Sterling, 76, Whitewright housewife who died Monday at Whitewright Nursing Home. Earnheart Funeral Chapel had charge of the services conducted by the Rev. Douglas Rymer, Baptist minister and the Rev. Bob Bryan, Methodist minister.
Burial was at Elm Grove Cemetery.
A Pilot Grove native, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Griffin. She married Grover Sterling in 1932 at Durant, Okla. She was a Methodist.
Survivors are daughters, Mrs. George Johnson of Princeton, Mrs. Shirley Brown of Westminster, Mrs. L. H. Durham and Mrs. Harold Pryor, both of Whitewright; brother, C. H. Griffin of Blue Ridge; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bobby Durham, Jimmy Johnson, Denny and Larry Brown, Joe Wolfe and Charles Corry.
