Katie M. Stark

Katie M. Stark, 91, 2354 12th St. SE, died Monday in a local nursing home.

She came to Salem in 1906. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include daughter, Constance Rapin, Sweet Home; sons, Walter V., Milwaukie, Richard A. Portland, and Robert J., Salem; sisters, Constance Osman, San Diego, Calif., Frances Garner, Thousand Oaks, Calif., Sister Barbara Marie, Salem, Theresa Saalfield, Mill City, Elizabeth Schotthoefer, Los Angeles, Calif., Barbara Minden, Sublimity, and Gertrude Jonets (sic), Seattle, Wash.; brothers, Joseph Schotthoefer, in Michigan, Fred Schotthoefer, in Illinois, and Richard Scotthoefer, Stayton; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Mass will be at 1:30 p..m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Private interment will be in Belcrest Memorial Park. The Casket will be open from 5-9 p.m. today in Virgil T. Golden mortuary.
