A very sad death occurred in our town early on last Friday morning when the grim reaper came into the home of Mr. Walter Hester and bore to a brighter world the spirit of hs beloved wife. She was ill with influenza and serious complications were the cause of her death. She was a sweet, loving wife and tender mother and leaves the heartbroken husband with four precious little children, who will so grievously feel the need of a mother's care.
She was a member of the Baptist Church. Her time was almost entirely devoted to her home and family, but she was a good neighbor and friend.
The remains were laid to rest in the local cemetery on Saturday morning with Rev. J. R. Curry officiating. Many relatives and friends gathered to pay the last tribute of respect.
