"HESTER, Walter M., 78, 2132 East Fifth St., Oak Park, a resident of Montgomery of 46 years, died in a local hospital at 5:30 a.m. Saturday. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Lucille Ballard, Mrs. Ruby H. Dean, Mrs. Martha H. Green, Mrs. Vivian Price, all of Montgomery, Mrs. Eugenia Hilyer, Wetumpka, and Mrs. Myra Ingram, Prattville; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral will be held from White Chapel Sunday at 3:30 p.m. with Minister Larry Harris officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Hester was a member of Highland Avenue Church of Christ and the Modern Woodmen of America. Honorary pallbearers will be retired L&N Railroad associates."
