The daughter of W.G. and Nettie Price Silvers, she was a native of Portland. She was born May 4, 1888. The family came to Muncie in 1906. A member of the High Street Methodist Church, she sang in its choir. She was active in Red Cross work and a member of the Federation Chorus, the Sweet Adalines and the Collins Booster Club.
Surviving are a son, Sylvan K. Ketterman, Indianapolis; a grandson, Sylvan R. Ketterman, Indianapolis; and a brother, H.R. Silvers, Bryan, Ohio.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Meeks Mortuary by the Rev. Thomas Hodson, with burial in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 2 p.m. Thursday.
