Wife of George Ingledue, Mrs. Ruth Ingledue, 79, of Route 4, Angola, died 8:45 p.m. Friday at the Angola Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Weicht Funeral Home with Marple Larson, Sr., pastor of the Metz Church of Christ, officiating. Interment followed in the South Scott Cemetery.

Surviving in addition to the husband, George, are three sons, James Smith, Washington State; Burton Smith, Oregon; and George Smith, New Jersey; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Rowlett, Miami, Florida, and Mrs. Thelma Grund, at Detroit, Michigan; two stepsons, Walter Ingledue, Route 1, Ashley, and Dean Ingledue, Detroit, Michigan; two brothers, Kenneth Burton, Youngstown, Ohio and Woodward Burton, California; three sisters, Blanche Collins, Palestine, West Virginia, and Edna Strasenberger and Virginia Ayers, both of Parkersburg, West Virginia and a number of grandchildren.

Mrs. Ingledue was born November 14, 1894, in West Virginia to James and Fanny (Lockhart) Burton.
