CHILDRESS, Texas - Susan King, 87, died Tuesday.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim McCurley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery under the direction of Schooler-Gordon Funeral Home.
King was born Sept. 21, 902, in Lockney, Texas. She was a homemaker. She and Joseph Tillman King were married in Childress County. He died in 1963. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Duncan of Childress; a son, Sidney Joiner of Merced, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Childress County Museum.
