MORRISDALE - Harry C. Beatty, 81, died here at 3:30 a.m. today, Dec. 1, in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Harry Scott.
A son of James and Annie (Hummel) Beatty, he was born at Philipsburg June 15, 1886. He was married to the former Blanche Hoover.
The following children survive: Mrs. Adilynn Dullen, Allport; Joseph, Mrs. Harry (Pauline) Scott, and Arnold, Morrisdale R.D.; Mrs. Ai (Tressa) Shirey, Clearfield, and Harold, Orlando, Fla.
Twelve grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Steve (May) Custaney of Morrisdale R.D., also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife and three children.
Friends will be received in the Wiliam W. Strange Home for Funerals from 7:30 p.m. today until 2 p.m. Sunday when services will be conducted by the Rev. Albert Rheem. Interment will be in the Allport Cemetery.
