Rosa Lee Woods
Age, 85, of Prestonsburg, died Wednesday, November 3, 2004, at King's Daughters Medical Center, in Ashland. Born February 6, 1919, in Floyd County, she was the daughter of the late Eli D. and Nanny May Fairchild. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bonanza Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Lincoln Woods. Other survivors include three sons, Jessie James Woods, Timmy Lee Woods and Terry R. Woods, all of Prestonsburg; three daughters: Patsy Spears of Prestonsburg, Linda Sue LaFramboise of Livonia, Michigan, and Betty Lou Crider of Prestonsburg; a sister, Thelma Blanton of Marion, Ohio; 15 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Johnnie Fairchild, Willie Fairchild, Dennis Fairchld and Tommy Fairchild; a sister, Emma Webb; and a great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 7, at 2 p.m., at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home, in Martin, with Nathan Lafferty officiating. Burial will be in Gethsemane Gardens, at Prestonsburg, under the direction of Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home. Visitation is at the funeral home.
