Mr. John "Johnnie Booger"Adamson, 80, of St. Charles, KY, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.
Born June 29, 1927 in St. Charles, KY, he was the son of the late Ira "Bud" Adamson and Cora Brown Adamson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers.
He is survived by one brother, Jasper Adamson of St. Charles and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 14, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Audie Brandon officiating. Burial will follow in New Suthards Cemetery near Earlington, KY.
Pallbearers will be Chad Stokes, William "Bobo" Adamson, Tommy Adamson, Cody Greer, Charlie Gibson, James Oldham, Buddy Farris and Jared Shelton.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. and from 10:00 A.M. until the service time on Friday at the funeral home.
