She was born Oct. 30,1917 in Wayne County to Earl and Mattie (Cook)Fort. Alice attended Beauty College and then owned her own shop,Alice's Beauty Shop,from 1959-1975. She was a member of the Lynn Friends Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children:Gene Lilly (wife:Phyllis)of Cape Canaveral,Fl.,and Becca Clouse (husband:Bill)of Lynn;four grandchildren,Douglas Lilly of Ocala,Fl.,Gina Johnson (husband:Lonnie)of Coco, Fla.,Joshua Clouse (wife:Candi) and Colby Clouse,all of Lynn.
She was preceded in death by her parents;a loving husband,Lowell Eugene Lilly,Sr.;and two sisters, Mary Ashe and Rebecca Fort.
A service to celebrate Alice's life in 2 p.m. Wed. at Thomas at Thomas Memorial Chapel,Lynn. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery,Maxville.
