Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Old Bethel Baptist Church near Clarks for Mrs. Estelle Mathews, 48, of 610 Pierre Ave., who died Monday morning in Confederate Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Burial will be in the church cemetery, under direction of Rose-Neath.
Mrs. Mathews was born in Clarks and had lived here 30 years.
Surviving are her husband, J. B. Mathews; a daughter, Mrs. J. E. Brooks; a son, R. F. Young, all of Shreveport; a sister, Mrs. A. D. Thompson of Bossier City; her father, P. P. Curry of Clarks; and three grandchildren.
