Death Claims Mrs. John Letts

Mrs. John Letts passed away at her home near Dundee last Wednesday, April 24, 1935, after a brief illness, leaving a family of four little children. Mrs. Letts suffered an attack of scarlet fever some time ago, leaving her in a state of uncertain health. Funeral services were held at the Wesleyan Methodist church at Dundee Friday afternoon. Rev. Paul C. Matthias of Dundee had charge of the services. Burial was made in the Dundee cemetery. Mrs. Letts was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Boardman of this city, and was born near Earlville April 22nd, 1906. She leaves the husband, four little children, her parents, and numerous other relatives. The death of this young mother brings a great sorrow to the family, in that it robs four little children of a mother's care. The stricken family has the profound sympathy of many friends.
