She worked for General Electric before becoming secretary for Grandview Alliance Church. She later worked as secretary for First Alliance Church. She was a 1945 graduate of Academy High School and attended Nyack Missionary College in Nyack, N.Y. She was a member of Girard Alliance Church.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James M. "Mart" Jones.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara J. Crays of Pacifica, Calif.; three sons, Randy A. Crays and his wife, Jeanne, of Erie, Cliff Crays and his wife, Shirley, of Girard, and Marc. J. Crays and his wife, Rita, of Cincinnati; five sisters, Winifred "Winnie" Corbin of Albion, Ruth Copen and her husband, Frank, of Yuba City, Calif., Grace Osborn and her husband, Wilbur, of Waterford, Mary Shore and her husband, Wilson, of Erie, and Gladys Pitroff and her husband, Charles, of Orlando, Fla.; three brothers, Thomas Jones and his wife, Laura, of Erie, David Jones of Erie, and G. John Jones and his wife, Mildred, of Kissimmee, Fla.; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will be at Erie County Memorial Gardens.
