Services for Clara V. Holtz, 72, of the Coventry Apartments, Rock Island, will be 1 p.m. Monday at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.
Visitation is 11 a.m. to service time. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Holtz died Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003, at her residence.
Mrs. Holtz was born Nov. 12, 1930, in Cedar Creek, Mo., the daughter of Owen and Oval Meredith Fisher. She married Albert Holtz Sept. 20, 1957, in Rich Hill, Mo. He preceded her death on Feb. 19, 1999.
Along with being a homemaker, Clara was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Rock Island.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Arnold, Rock Island; stepson, Marc Holtz and his wife, Ruth, Penfield, N.Y.; grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew, Kerry, Tyler, David, Timothy and Thomas; sister, Minnie Fortsom, Jefferson City, Mo.; along with nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
