Mrs. Carrie May Renner, of near New Midway, widow of Newton D. Renner, died Tuesday at five p.m. in Springfield State Hospital, Sykesville. She was born in Frederick county in 1872, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Murphy, Woodsboro, and was aged 80 years. Her husband died three years ago. Surviving are two sons, Wilbert V., Pacific Grove, Calif. and Herbert G., Washington; two grandchildren and a brother, Eugene K. Murphy, Indianapolis.
The body is at the Woodsboro funeral home of Powell and Hartzler where friends may call this evening. Services will be conducted there Friday afternoon at one o'clock by Elder Samuel Weybright. Interment in the Brethren cemetery, Rocky Ridge.
