ROGERS – Sarah Jane Rogers of 1642 Hilyard passed away August 21, 1975, at the age of 83. She was born January 12, 1892 at Wilkeson, Washington. She is survived by 2 sons, William E. and Albert E.; 1 daughter, Mrs. Alyce R. Sheetz, all of Eugene; 5 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Vernice Munly of Portland, Emily MacFarland of Enumclaw, Washington. A memorial service will be held Monday, August 25th at 2:30 p.m. at McGaffey-Andreason Eugene Memorial Chapel, Reverend Dulcius B. Elliott officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Oregon State Library, Division for the Blind, in care of the Chapel.
