WALLACE "FLUFF" HUDSON, 71 of Benton, KY passed away at 1:30PM Saturday, March 12, 2011 as the result of an accident at his home.

Fluff was well known statewide as being a tireless worker for the Democratic Party and its candidates. He retired from Tappan in Murray and the Kentucky State Parks System where he was the maintenance superintendant. He was an active member of Hardin Baptist Church and its campground ministry.

He is survived by his wife, June Noles Hudson of Benton, KY; one son, Rocky Hudson and his wife Mary Beth of Benton, KY; two grandchildren, Paul Willis Hudson and Evelyn Marie Hudson both of Benton, KY; one sister, Beulah Cothran of Hammond, IN and two brothers, Bryan "Boonie" Hudson of LaCenter, KY and Clayton "Dick" Hudson of Benton, KY.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert Hudson, Ross Hudson, Jim Hudson, Nelson Hudson and David Hudson; and one infant sister, Florence Hudson. His parents were Grover Cleveland Hudson and Eva Mae Cossey Hudson.

Memorials: The family requests that gifts of sympathy be made to the Jonathan Elementary Family Resource Center, 9207 US Highway 68 East, Benton, KY 42025 or Hardin Baptist Church Laying the Foundation, 6867 US Highway 641 North, Hardin, KY 42048.

Services: Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Wednesday March 16, 2011 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. Ricky Cunningham and Rocky Hudson will officiate and burial will follow in the Hematite Cemetery in Land Between the Lakes.
Visitation: Friends may call after 4:00PM Monday, March 14, 2011 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory and from 1:00PM until 5:00PM Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory and from 9:00AM until the funeral hour on Wednesday.
