Rev. Presser, who was 91 years and six months of age, was formerly a pastor of the Holly Grove Baptist Church at Cooter, leaving there in 1928. He was the father of Broadus Presser, Cooter druggist.
Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church in Esther Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. The pastor, Rev. Lassiter, officiated, with interment at the Memorial Cemetery near Flat River.
Surviving are his wife; three sons: Broadus Presser of Cooter, Lloyd Presser of Detroit, Michigan, and Llewellyn Presser of Esther; and two daughters: Mrs. Dorothy Purtle and Miss Blanch Presser of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
