THOMAS E. FIELDER, Sr. Gunter-Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church, Gunter, for Thomas E. Fielder, Sr., 77, retired Grayson farmer, who died in a Wichita Falls hospital at 4:17 a.m. Monday. He moved from Sherman to Wichita Falls two years ago to live with a son. W. L. Fielder. The Rev. G. G. Burnett, Coy C. Wier of Gunter, Baptist ministers, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Cottage Hill Cemetery, near Weston, directed by Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman. Mr. Fielder was born Sept. 5, 1883 in Grayson County, a son of Mr. and Mrs. T. S. Fielder. On July 1, 1906, he married Miss Ora D. Ford. She died in April, 1957. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are three other sons. Oris Fielder of Riverbank, Calif., Billy Fielder of Waco and T.E. Fielder Jr., of Gainesville; two brothers, L. H. Fielder of Denison and Ben Fielder of Farmersville; 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
