Mr. Dycus was born July 11, 1893 in Dyer County, Tenn., the son of James and Naomi Dycus, and came to Pemiscot county with his family when he was a small child. He was a member of the Baptist church and a veteran of World War II receiving an honorable discharge at Camp Doniphan, Okla., on August 20, 1917.
Survivors are three brothers, Herman Dycus of this city, Will Dycus, Poplar Bluff and Jim Dycus, Yorkville, Tenn.; and three sisters, Mrs. Janie Reeves and Mrs. Minnie Stinson of Caruthersville and Mrs. Lillie Norman of Bragg City.
