Monday afternoon for Mrs. Jennie Reeves, 85, who died at her home here Saturday, November 13. The Reverand Marvin Niblack officiated and burial was in Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville.
She was born in Madison County, Tennessee on April 22, 1886, the daughter of James and Madie Dycus and moved to Caruthersville in 1907. On July 6, 1946, in Blytheville, she was married to Spencer Reeves.
She leaves her husband, Spencer Reeves of this city; a brother, Jim Dycus of Newbern, Tennessee; a sister, Lillie Norman of Bragg City; a step son; Eugene Reeves of this city; and three step daughters: Mrs. Catherine Cummings of Riverside, Michigan; Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Bincent and Mrs. Lasbie Utley of Caruthersville.
