We don't have a picture of Andrew Egger Jr. The photo is not Andrew Egger, Jr. It is his son Moses Bond Egger and his second wife Liddie.

* Andrew Egger Jr. was married to Nancy Ann (Bond) Egger. Nancy was born on June 23, 1769 in Virginia, United States. She was 17 years old when she married Andrew. She passed away August 6, 1844.

Andrew was born first generation American. His father, also named Andrew Egger (Sr.), was born in Germany and had two brothers, also born in Germany.

Andrew Egger II (or Jr.), according to deed records of Chester-York Co., S. C. was a saddler. He must have been something of a real estate dealer also, as he bought several tracts of land, selling them within a short time after buying them. This land was near the boundary of York and Chester Co., S. C. and generally in the vicinity of Turkey Creek and its tributaries.

Andrew Egger and his wife Nancy were buried in the family graveyard, not far above the present town of Lourys, S. C.

I found this bit of information online at Genealogy dot com regarding Andrew Egger, Sr.: The earliest record I can find of this elusive man is his mention in a book printed in 1969 by A. E. Kolb entitled "The lives and heritage of the Mississippi brothers Andrew Egger and Avery E. Kolb by A. E. Kolb 1969. Kolb says that ...."The Egger family is of Teutonic origin and was from the Palatinate District of Germany, namely Bavaria, where is found the river Egger...."

They had 12 children who were all born In York County, South Carolina.
