MARYANN (HATHAWAY) BRINKMAN, 80, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Epple. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, New Haven and American Legion Post 330 Auxiliary. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for 17 years at St. Joseph Hospital, before retiring in 1983. She is survived by her sons, Michael A. Hathaway of Ft. Myers, Fla., Thomas H. (Ann) Hathaway and Robert J. (Barbara) Hathaway, both of Fort Wayne; stepson, Roger Brinkman Jr. of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Adam, Jason, Sydney, and Clarke Hathaway; and great-grandchildren, Camreen, Nicholas, Alison, and Alyssa. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert E. Hathaway, in 1964; second husband, Roger V. Brinkman Sr., in 1995; sister, Jane Newkirk; and brothers, Henry Carl Epple and Paul Epple. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. The Rev. Doug Croucher officiating. Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at E.
