OBITUARY - LEONARD I. GASHEL
Leonard I. Gashel , retired comtroller for the Kimberly Clark Corporation, died on Sunday, Oct. 14, at the Cathcart Home, Devon, after a short illness. He was 79 and lived in Devon.

Born in Rock Falls, Iowa, Mr. Gashel was a former resident of Malvern. He had also lived in Charlotte, N.C. and Neenah, Wis., and many years in Chicago.

Mr. Gashel retired in 1967 as general accounting manager in International Operations for Kimberly Clark Corp., Neenah, Wis., after 37 years with the firm.

He was a member of the Paoli Presbyterian Church and the Society of the Mayflower Descendants, and was active with the American Rose Society.

In addition to his wife, the former Daisy Howard, he is survived by a son, Leonard H. of Springfield, Va., a daughter, Carolyn R. Reber, of Malvern; three grandsons and four sisters, Gladys Seaver, Thelma Menneke, Genevieve Armstrong, and Dorothy Schram, all of Iowa.

Services were held Oct. 17, from the Mauger Funeral Home, Malvern. Interment was private.
