Bernard Darnell, the little six year old son of Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Darnell, of Freeport, died at the home of his parents on Wednesday from an attack of membranous croup. Everything was done that medical skill could provide to save the child's life, but to no avail and the boy succumbed to death. The funeral service was held at the family residence Friday morning, and interment was made in the Fought cemetery at Newark.
