WILLIAMS — Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m., at he Church at Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for Mrs. Ida Masey, 74, who died Tuesday mornng in the Williams hospital. Burial will follow In the Williams Cemetery.
James A. McGee will officiate with E.. H. Call assisting. Born July 3, 1881 in Manassa, Colo., Mrs. Massey had been a resident of Arizona since 1918 when she came to Chandler. She moved to Drake in 1919 and with her husband the late I. D. "Doc" Massey purchased the Pine Springs ranch west of Williams in 1920.
She was married Oct. 8, 1903 in the Temple in Salt Lake City.
Survivors include four sons, Don Massey, who is chief of police at Williams; Bill and Forrest also of Williams, Frank, Phoenix; two daughters, Mrs. Opal Campbell and Mrs. Ruby Herrmann both of Williams; 12 grandchildren and :hree great grandchildren; and two brothers Sam Fellers, Phoenix and Houston

Pioneer Motel Operator Dies
WILLIAMS — (AP) — Dr. Ira D. Massey, a pioneer in the filling station and motel business here, died in Williams community hospital Monday.
Dr. Massey, 72, succumbed following a long illness.
He came here with his wife 36 years ago from Manassa, Colo. and homesteaded a 160-acre tract at Pine Springs. A home, four tourist cabins and a filling station were built on the property.
The ranch was later sold and the Masseys moved into Williams.
Dr. Massey was a chiropractor, veterinarian and apprentice dentist.
Surviving are his widow, Ida S.; daughters, Mrs. Opal Campbell and Mrs. Ruby Herrmann; sons Dell. Don, Frank, and Forrest; and 12 grandchildren.

Ida Jay Sellers Massey, 74, died November 1, 1955 at 9:50 a.m. in the Williams Hospital, due to kidney failure. She was the daughter of Martha E. Horton and Samuel Surrett Sellers.
On October 8, 1903 she married Ira Delmore Massey in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had six children. She was a resident of Williams, Arizona for 35 years and at time of death she resided at 119 South 4th Street.
