Mr. Dokken was found dead of a heart attack at his home in North Lemmon last wednesday noon,where he had been home alone for several days while his family was away.He had lived there for about a year,after retiring from 30 years of farming on his homestead 13 miles norteast of Thunder Hawk.He was born in Norway FEB. 25,1868.He came to america at the age of 8,settling with his parents in Iowa.He came to the West River country to homestead in 1908.
Surviving are his widow and eight children,Mrs. Louis (Lewis) Peterson of Bismarck,Mrs. Edward Ellison and Norman Dokken of Thunder Hawk,Kenneth of Sacremento,Calif.,Orin of Morristown,and Dennis,Bernice and Harvey at home,four chidren preceded him in death.
Rev. A Trueman Daniels was in charge of the service.
