Pauline E. Kurtenbach, 89 of Pontiac, IL, died on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 8:35 PM at Heritage Manor in Dwight, IL.

Pauline was born on September 19, 1921 in Lutesville, MO a daughter of Albert and Lillian (Funke) Stamm. She married Everett H. Kurtenbach on June 3, 1944 in Piper City, IL. He preceded her in death on March 21, 1998.

She was preceded in death by her parents and eleven brothers and sisters.

Pauline attended school in Lutesville, MO. She had worked at the Coil Factory in Piper City, IL, the Chair Factory in Pontiac, IL and the American Screen Company in Chatsworth, IL. She was queen at Heritage Manor in Dwight for two years.

Pauline enjoyed fishing, she was an avid gardener. She loved being able to attend the Fairbury Fair each year to display her canning and floral exhibits. She was proud of her achievements at the fair. She was an avid animal lover and avid plant grower. Pauline's greatest love was that of her family, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She had many nieces and nephews, and many many friends. She had a heart of gold, she loved everyone and everything. She was loved by many and we will all miss her.
