Mrs. Webb Austin died at her home on Great Brook in this town Wednesday morning at 1:30 after an illness of a little less than a week, from pneumonia, following an attack of grip which she sustained just before Christmas.
Mrs. Austin’s maiden name was Sarah Conde, and she was born at Clifton Park, Saratoga County, in October 1849. Her family removed to Illinois, which was her home until her marriage to Mr. Austin in 1863 [4 July 1865 is the actual date]. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Henry Sage of this town and Mrs. Frank Wooster of Binghamton, and one son, living at home.
She was a woman highly esteemed by those who knew her, and her family will have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
Funeral services will be held at her home today (Saturday) at 11AM. Burial at South New Berlin.
