PARFITT: Mrs. Caruth Nicholson Parfitt, 97, of 1604 1st St. Neptune Beach Fla passed away Friday, December 2nd (1983). She was born in Fisherville, KY October 8, 1886. Daughter of James Lewis and Ellen Hines Nicholson, a pioneer family of Jefferson Co., KY. She was the widow of the late D. W. (Jack) Parfitt former Duval County Official. Survivors are, 1 son, D.W. Parfitt, Neptune Beach, Fla; 3 granddaughters, Mrs. Dianne Hoover, Atlantic Beach, Fla; Mrs. Pamela Wilson, Jacksonville Beach, Fla. and Mrs. Cheryl Cook, High Point, N.C. and 3 great grandchildren, Brandon Jeffrey Cook, Zachary Weller Wilson and Casey Travis Wilson. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from the gravesite in Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. William Talmadge, officiating. Arrangements by Giddens-Griffith Funteral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd.
