Daughter of James Lewis and Ellen Hines Nicholson, a pioneer family of Jefferson Co., KY. She was the widow of the late D. W. (Jack) Parfitt former Duval County Official. Survivors are, 1 son, D.W. Parfitt, Neptune Beach, Fla; 3 granddaughters, Mrs. Dianne Hoover, Atlantic Beach, Fla; Mrs. Pamela Wilson, Jacksonville Beach, Fla. and Mrs. Cheryl Cook, High Point, N.C. and 3 great grandchildren, Brandon Jeffrey Cook, Zachary Weller Wilson and Casey Travis Wilson. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from the gravesite in Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. William Talmadge, officiating. Arrangements by Giddens-Griffith Funteral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd.
