Dicie (also Dicy) was the daughter of Benjamin Ellis and Nancy Murphree. She married Isaac Glover on January 15, 1839 in Benton County, Alabama. Records for Dicie have not been found after the 1870 Blount County, Alabama census, so the presence of a simple marker for Dicy Glover at the Eula cemetery is something of a mystery. However, all her children moved to Texas by the early 1880s; and a brother and three of her children moved to the Eula area around 1900. A daughter and a brother are buried in the Eula cemetery. Her death, if in Callahan County, was probably in the early 1900s.
