Statesboro - Edna Mae Ziegler Jones, 78, died April 3 at Bulloch Memorial Hospital. She was born in Junction City, Kan., and was reared in Nashville, Tenn. She graduated from Ashley Hall in Charleston and from Ward-Belmont School in Nashville. She had made her home in Statesboro since the end of World War II.

She was a founding member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Statesboro and a past president of Episcopal Church Women of the Diocese of Georgia. She was a member of the Order of the Daughters of the King and the Archibald Bulloch Chapter, National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a sustaining member of Statesboro Service League and a charter memmber of the Spade and Trowel Garden Club.

SURVIVORS: her husband, H.P. Jones Jr. of Statesboro; two daughters and a son-in-law, Edna Woods and Steve Wisebram of Atlanta and Mary Beth Jones of Atlanta; a granddaughter, Harden Wisebram of Atlanta; a grandson, Witt Wisebram of Atlanta; a brother and sister-in-law, Tom H. and Imogene Ziegler of Crescent City, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Alma Ziegler of Birmingham, Ala.; a brother-in-law, J.E. Jones and his wife, Ursula, of Warner Robins; and several nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 5-8 p.m. today at the residence in Statesboro.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Episcopal Church, burial in Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro.
