Lizzie was baptised on June 23, 1889 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Shell Lake (Washburn County), Wisconsin. She married Louis L. Wakefield, the youngest of three known children born to Frank P. and Columbia I. Wakefield. Lizzie and Lou celebrated their wedding on August 7, 1907 in Washburn County, Wisconsin. They had at least four children.
