CHARLESTON - Entered into eternal rest on the evening of March 7, 2011, Henry William Fuseler, Jr., husband of Winifred "Winnie" DeCruz Fuseler.

The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Henry William Fuseler, Jr. are invited to attend the funeral services of the former in Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Saturday, March 12, 2011, at 2:00 pm. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Friday between 5:00 and 7:00 pm.

Mr. Fuseler was born November 27, 1918, in Charleston, SC, the son of Henry W. Fuseler, and Anna Dorothy Lilienthal.

He was a graduate of Clemson University and served in the United States Army during World War II in the Signal Corp and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.

He was a member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Elks Club of Charleston, Deutscher Bruderliche Bund and Retired Officer Association.

Mr. Fuseler retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard as an Electric Shop Planner.

He was a wonderful father, grandfather and great grandfather and a loving husband.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years of Charleston, SC; two sons: Henry W. Fuseler, III (Ellen) of Columbia, SC and Gary J. Fuseler of North Charleston, SC; one daughter: Cheryl M. Sigwald of Aiken, SC; one sister: Gesine of Lexington, SC; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
