Mrs. Emma Jenkins Gray passed away Sunday afternoon about one o'clock, after a short illness. While she had not been seriously ill but only a few hours, she had been in failing health for the past few years.
She was born March 25, 1854, at Saratoga, Lyon County, was married to George C. Gray and moved to Marion as a bride to make her home April 1931.
She is survived by one son, Edward, Wrightsville, Ga.; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Edwards, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Mrs. R.B. Cook and Mrs. Frances Gray, of this city.
