Mrs. Jessie [sic] Roy (Irby Rose Etta Smith) Hilliard (1902-1937) died suddenly at her home at Lemon Heights at 5 a.m. today, following an illness of but a few hours.
Funeral services wil be held at 4:30 p.m. today with interment in Peniel Cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Putnam county, Mrs. Hilliard is survived by her mother Mrs. Cab Smith, her husband, J. R. Hilliard, and a daughter Miss Katherine Hilliard; three brothers, Barney Smith, Daytona Beach, and Clyde and Herman Smith, of Palatka, and two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Johns and Mrs. Elsie Wilkinson, also survive.
