Paul Sr. was raised as a farm boy on the Minor family farm in the area of Murray Hill Rd. and Freeman Mill road in Greensboro. He served in the 121st Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron, Troop A in WWII Receiving a purple heart for a battlefield injury. He retired from Carolina Loom and Reed Company in Greensboro. He loved to raise a Garden in the summer and go Rabbit hunting in the winter. He was a devoted family man, Paul attended Glenwood Friends Meeting .His Wife was Peggy Crouse Minor, and son Paul H. Minor Jr.
At the time of his passing he lived with Wife and son at 2515 Freeman Mill Road,G-Boro
