Judith A. (McNabb) Brubaker, 67, of Allegheny Township, peacefully went to be with her Savior, Jesus, Monday, March 7, 2011, at BelAir Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lower Burrell. Judith was born March 19, 1943, in Lower Burrell, a daughter of the late John McNabb and Josephine (Wilhelm) McNabb-Smeltzer, who survives her of Lower Burrell. Judy had cleaned houses and was a personal caregiver for many people over the years. She had also worked for a number of years for West Haven Nursing Home in Apollo in their house cleaning department. She attended Lighthouse Fellowship Chapel in Sarver. Judy was a 1961 graduate of Ken High. She was a member of the Allegheny Township Vol. Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member and past secretary of Aglow. She also was a member of the local TOPS group. She enjoyed crocheting baby blankets, watching Christian programs and cooking shows. Her greatest joy was going out for dinner and spending time with her grandchildren and her family. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, James B. Brubaker; two sons, Randall J. and Jessica Brubaker, of Washington Township, Robert J. and Sandra Brubaker, of Buffalo Township; and her daughter, Jodi L. and Doug King, of Allegheny Township. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara and Dennis Crissman, of Lower Burrell; seven grandchildren, Jessica and Scott Brubaker-Brun, Matthew, Shane, Sydney and Spencer Brubaker, Hayli and Abby King; one great-granddaughter, Camryn Brun; sisters-in-law, Judy Campo, of Florida, and Sandy Pulaski, of Georgia; three nieces, Jacqueline, Rachel and Toni; two nephews, Tony and Mike; great-nieces, Jillie and Chelsea; and great-nephews, Tony and Ryan. She was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria McNabb; and an infant brother, John. Family and friends are being received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the REDMOND FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 High St., Freeport. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Lay Pastor, Lloyd Riggle, officiating. Burial service will be held in the Brookland Cemetery Allegheny Township.
