Harold Klimpke, 58, Abbotsford, died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, as the result of a motorcycle accident. He served in the Army National Guard and the U.S. Army and was employed in research and development at Kolbe and Kolbe, Wausau. Survivors include his wife, Kathy (Weix) Klimpke, Abbotsford; eight children, Todd (Trudy) Klimpke, Prentice, Tim (Gayle) Klimpke, Westboro, Brian (Bridget) Klimpke and Brenda (Brandy King) Klimpke, all of Marshfield, Henry Blazel and Brenda (Jim Kimball) Duvall, all of Abbotsford, Bonnie (John) Cherwinka, Wausau, and Rhonda (Tim) Schotz, Rothschild; his mother, Winifred (Dawson) Klimpke, Spencer, 17 grandchildren; three brothers, Clem (Mary) Klimpke and Roger (Mary Wellsandt) Klimpke, all of Dorchester, and Kevin Klimpke, Greenwood; and four sisters, Connie (Dean) Smith, Spencer, Donna (Rick) Podevels, Colby, Nancy (Eric) Johnston, Greenwood, and Lori (Roger) Zvolena, Loyal. Services will be at 11 am. Friday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Abbotsford. Burial will be in Abbotsford Public Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford. There will be a parish rosary service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
